I just finished watching this video of Starbucks CEO Howard Schultz who has said “Enough!” to Washington and is urging other CEOs to follow suit and stop all political campaign contributions. Remember when you were a teen and your parents took away the car keys for some minor infraction (much less than blowing trillions of dollars)? That was the worst! No wheels meant no social life, which meant no fun which meant you had to go to work and buy your own car… Sadly Washington can’t do that. They are not producers they are consumers of the people’s money. But no need to beat a dead horse here.
This leaves the door WIDE open for the one candidate whose campaign is rocking along, currently with only (correct me if I’m wrong) donations from the people. Even though he is being ignored by the mainstream media, Dr. Ron Paul is a contender according to the people. If Mr. Schultz is serious and actually looks for a candidate who is in support of the change he wants (and we all need) Ron Paul is the man! I think our country needs a true Statesman such as Ron Paul, rather than another “celebrity” President.
